Summer is almost over for the Space Coast, although Hurricane season is in full swing. Although we had a near miss with Irene, it has otherwise been pretty quiet (so far!).
Our most exciting news is that we will take delivery of our second Waco UPF-7 by mid-September. We are very excited to have another plane giving rides. Our initial plans are to deploy her full-time at the Space Coast Regional Airport in Titusville. We will be offering rides daily at the Valiant Air Command, a fantastic non-profit warbird museum.
We are also making strides with our new hangar, although we have quite a bit of work to do before we call it "done".
We continue to meet fascinating folks who come to enjoy flying in our Waco. On August 12th we were honored to have Andrew Forgino and his "soon-to-be" fiance, Jessica Saggio take a romantic sunset flight, during which he proposed. Jessica's acceptance was celebrated afterwords on the ground with champagne and cheers.
